The cell membrane invaginates to form mesosomes.Mesosomes are in the form of tubules,vasicles and  lamellae.

Funstions : 

  1. The are involved in DNA replication and cell devision.
  2. They are also involved in the export of exocellular enzymes.
  3. Enzymes for respiration are also attache on Mesosomes.
